Assessment Professional 2014 Survey

Purpose: The purpose of the survey is to gather data to establish a broad demographic profile of the assessment professional role in higher education. For purposes of this study, we are defining an assessment professional as one who works full-time in assessment at an institution of higher education. Typically, these professionals are administrators or faculty with the following job titles: Director of Assessment, Associate/Assistant Director of Assessment, Coordinator of Assessment, and Assessment Specialist. Professionals who are faculty members with course release to do assessment work do not fall into our definition for purposes of this study.
Researchers: This survey is conducted by Dr. Mark Nicholas, Director of Assessment at Framingham State University and Dr. Ruth Slotnick, Director of Assessment at Bridgewater State University.
Anonymity: Your responses will be held in confidence. You will not be asked any personally identifying information. The report of results will only include general information about all respondents and sub-groups of respondents.
Voluntary Nature: Participation in this survey is completely voluntary. If you choose not to participate, you may stop at any time.
Benefits & Risks: Results of this survey will be used to create a demographic profile of the assessment professional. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. The risks from participating in this survey are minimal. You may be asked some questions that you may find sensitive, and may skip those questions if you wish.
